The Portland Transhumanism Meetup

Meet other local Transhumanists to discuss topics such as nanotechnology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, immortality, and the emerging global superorganism. We may discuss ways to effectively collaborate to bring about the biotechnological freedom we desire, biotechnology / bioethics, as well as the validity of the transhumanist declaration. I'm hoping this will lead to the creation of the Portland, OR WTA branch.

"Hello, I won't be in Portland until late summer, but I thought I might as well join now :) I'm finishing up my degree in Mathematics before saving up and moving out there. I'm hoping to meet other technophiles and perhaps even make a few friends :)"
