- I've read Kurzweil, essays about the tech singularity and the "spike" we are tearing towards, and even Sturgeon's fiction "More Human Than Human" which left a great impression on me of humanity's potential and possible futures.
- Which predicted technological trends/timelines do you disagree with?

Disagree with most human-servitude type doomsday scenarios where robots make us dependent on them.

- How did you become a transhumanist?

I think I've always been. At least in a high level. I'm no engineer or mathematician, I see things more from a higher level... trends, why people do the things they do, what makes people move away from one thing and towards another thing.

“ Great group... smaller than Boston... better in some ways because it's more intimate. You get to know each person and share ideas and experiences. You learn more, and if you feel like it you can help and guide more as well. Being able to meet with speakers and other successful artists is a big plus too, as you can actually have conversations and discussions with the entire group, unlike larger meetups where it's limited to lecture/presentation and then some Q/A maybe. ”
