Introduction
I've read Kurzweil, essays about the tech singularity and the "spike" we are tearing towards, and even Sturgeon's fiction "More Human Than Human" which left a great impression on me of humanity's potential and possible futures.
Which predicted technological trends/timelines do you disagree with?

Disagree with most human-servitude type doomsday scenarios where robots make us dependent on them.

Which authors/blogs/trends do you follow most closely?

Kurzweil.net

How did you become a transhumanist?

I think I've always been. At least in a high level. I'm no engineer or mathematician, I see things more from a higher level... trends, why people do the things they do, what makes people move away from one thing and towards another thing.
